Georgie moved to lay on the ground on his side, hugging his legs to his chest and crying into his hands. God, I wish I could trust him more, but- I can’t be so naive- This is all my fault…

Casimir sobbed quietly, but didn’t let himself let it all out in Georgie’s house. He stood up, furiously rubbing his eyes and walking down the steps, breathing shaky.

Georgie stayed curled up in a ball on the floor, sobbing shakily into his hands.

Casimir walked to the front entrance of Georgie’s house. He approached one of Georgie’s siblings. ‘Hey, uh, can I ask a favour?’

“Uh, sure, yeah-“ Rupert replied, nodding as he looked up from his book. “What’s up?”

Casimir pulled out a letter from his pocket. ‘Could you give this to Georgie, please? I-I wrote it before I came over. A-And tell them they can keep the journal. They’ll know what that means.’

Rupert furrowed his brows a little and nodded, taking the letter. “Okay- What’s this for, though?”

‘I-It’s just, uh, something I never gave to them. Wh-When we met, I wrote a letter- I-It’s stupid, j-just give it to them, please?’

Rupert nodded again, picking up his book and going back to reading. “Will do.”

‘Thanks,’ Casimir said quietly. He walked back towards the door and opened it, walking into the kingdom. He got a lot of stares from people who recognised him, but he didn’t care. He kept thinking back to Georgie, and just wanted to break down and cry again.
