Georgie sat up fully, yawning and rubbing the tiredness out of their eyes. “Mm, I’m getting kind of hungry,” he murmured, glancing over at Casimir.

‘I can get you some food. O-Or you could have dinner with me and my family,’ Casimir offered quickly.

“With you and your family? But- But I’m not royalty-“

‘Well, you missed the dinner provided for servants. You may as well join us,’ Casimir said.

Georgie blushed and smiled, nodding. “Okay, that sounds nice~” He said, giggling softly as he gently squeezed Casimir’s hand.

Casimir smiled, gently massaging the back of Georgie’s hand. ‘C’mon, let’s go.’

Georgie nodded and moved his legs to hang off the edge of the bed, grabbing his prosthetic and putting it on. He stood, stretching and yawning softly.

Casimir stood up and looked in the mirror, fixing his hair.

Georgie hummed and looked back at Casimir, offering him their hand. “I’m ready to go~”

Casimir blushed and took their hand. ‘Great.’ He walked towards the door, trying to stop his flusteredness creeping into his voice.

Georgie smiled and followed Casimir out of his room, walking with down the hall.

Casimir lead Georgie to the dining room. Once they got there, he took a deep breath and dropped the gardener’s hand. f---, maybe this isn’t such a good idea-

Georgie looked over at Casimir, seeing his expression change. “You okay, Cas?”

Casimir looked at them and forced a smile, nodding. ‘Of course.’ He looked back at the door. Well, too late now. He opened the door. Inside was a long table, one half occupied by his family. His father, the king, sat at the head, with his wife on one side of him, and a seat spared for Casimir on the other. His brothers sat on his father’s side, and Bella in her baby chair next to his mother.

Georgie followed close behind Casimir, feeling extremely out of place in his gardening clothes.
