“I- I suppose you could say that,” Georgie murmured, looking down at their lap.

Casimir glared at his father, who nonchalantly nodded. Cas's brothers were dead silent. Bella blew a raspberry at her father.

Georgie kept their head hung low, too nervous to say anything more.

A few servants brought the family their food, as well as an extra plate for Georgie. Casimir reached over and rested his hand on Georgie's thigh, trying to make them feel better.

Georgie blushed profusely, a small smile on their face as they saw Casimir’s hand appear on his thigh. He rested his hand on top of the prince’s, rubbing it with his thumb.

Casimir smiled and squeezed their hand. His father glared at the two, but didn't say anything. Michael and Damien started devouring their food. Mariam was silent, but the looks she gave Georgie clearly stated her opinion of them.

Georgie began eating, occasionally sneaking glances at Casimir and smiling at him.

Casimir smiled, squeezing their hand again and beginning to eat. Michael was telling his mother about his day, and Damien was talking to his father about his studies.
'You okay?' Casimir whispered to Georgie/ -
“Yeah, just- nervous, is all,” Georgie whispered softly, shakily taking another bite of their food.

Casimir nodded, giving a small smile. 'Don't be. Father is like this to most of our servants, especially ones who are disabled. You're not the only one.'

Georgie nodded, rubbing the back of Casimir’s hand with his thumb.

Casimir watched them for a few more moments before continuing to eat his food.

Georgie took another bite of their food, relaxing a little.

Casimir gave a small smile. Eventually he finished his food, and waited for the rest of his family to finish too before he could leave.

Georgie soon finished his food, humming softly with content. He glanced over at Casimir, smiling a little at him.
