“I’m worried that might just make him angrier- I do want you there, but still, I’m a bit worried-“
-
'He'll listen to reason,' Casimir said, kissing the back of their hand.
-
“I hope so,” Georgie murmured, sighing softly. They leaned into Casimir’s side as they walked, smiling a little before it faded. “What if he doesn’t though? What if he stays mad at you forever? How will he even take us getting married??”
-
'He's your brother, darling, not your father,' Casimir said, kissing their forehead. 'If your father hated me before he died, me marrying you would be a problem. If your mother hated me, it would be a problem. But they're both fine with it, right? Rupert won't be mad forever, he's just holding a grudge.'
-
Georgie exhaled softly, nodding. “No, you’re right, I- I’m sorry,” she spoke, leaning into Casimir’s side. “I’m just worried, is all…”
-
'Don't be sorry, I get it,' Casimir said, holding them close. 'C'mon, lets go talk to Rupert.'
-
Georgie nodded, resting his head on Casimir’s shoulder as they walked. They soon ended up at Georgie’s house and the blonde led him inside, seeing his mother and brother talking.
-
Casimir followed them. He wrapped an arm around their waist.
-
Georgie cautiously walked in, the conversation stopping between his mother and his brother. “Georgie, Casimir, hello~” Georgie’s mother said with a gentle smile and Rupert looked over, glaring angrily at Casimir.
-
Casimir glanced at Rupert and quickly averted his gaze, pulling his arm off Georgie.
-
"Georgie, can I speak with you? Alone?" Rupert asked, glaring at Casimir for a moment longer before looking at his sibling. "If you have something to say, you can say it in front of both of us," Georgie spoke, grabbing Casimir's hand and taking it in his own.
-
Casimir held onto Georgie’s hand tightly, keeping quiet.
-
"Fine- He needs to hear this, anyways," Rupert said, heading towards the back of the house. Georgie followed with Casimir and they exited the house, going out to the back where Georgie's mother's garden was set up. "I don't think you two should be dating," Rupert spoke after a moment of silence, turning back to face Georgie and Casimir.
-
Casimir’s grip on their hand tightened. ‘And why’s that?’
-
"He almost f---ing died, that's why!!" Rupert shouted, throwing his hands up in the air. "It's not Casimir's fault I got hurt, it's those b----y princess sisters' fault," Georgie spoke, moving closer to Casimir's side and gently squeezing his hand.
