‘Rupert, I’m the one who saved their life,’ Casimir said, trying to sound as confident as possible. ‘I-If I hadn’t showed up when I did they would have died.’

"Then why is Georgie missing half his arm?! Explain that to me!" Rupert shouted, grabbing Georgie's wrapped arm that was hidden under his rolled up button up. He winced in pain, pulling his arm back. "I chose to amputate my arm, Rue, I made this choice," Georgie retorted, glaring at her brother.

‘You think I decided to have their arm cut off?! If I had it my way they would’ve never been stabbed in the first place!’ Casimir exclaimed, raising his voice.

"But he did get stabbed, and it's your fault-" "Shut up, Rupert!" Georgie shouted, letting go of Casimir's hand and stepping towards their brother. "Casimir did nothing wrong, and you're just throwing around accusations for no goddamn reason! What do you have against him?!" "I don't f---ing trust him, Georgie! He's just using you for attention, to make himself look good!" Rupert shouted back, pointing at Casimir.

Rupert grabbed Georgie's hand, pulling them to his side. "Georgie, you told me you weren't going to give in- you weren't going to let people fool you anymore, remember?" He spoke, clasping his sibling's hand in both of his. "He doesn't actually love you-" "Shut up," Georgie murmured, trying to pull back. "Georgie, he's just making bulls---! You don't think some royal actually loves you, do you-" "SHUT THE f--- UP!" Georgie shouted angrily, ripping their hand back and shoving Rupert away. "You don't know s---! Cassie loves me, and- and I love him!" She exclaimed, angry tears filling her eyes.

Casimir gently wrapped him arms around their waist, trying not to startle them. ‘We’re done here,’ he said firmly, glaring at Rupert. ‘And, just so you know, a royal does love them.’

“Bulls---, f---ing bulls---,” Rupert retorted, glaring at Casimir. “Fine, get your heart broken again, I don’t f---ing care.” He shoved past Georgie and Casimir, heading back into the house. Georgie exhaled shakily and hugged his arms to his chest, angry tears filling his eyes.

Casimir moved in front of Georgie and hugged them close, rubbing their back. ‘Darling, look at me,’ he said softly.

Georgie exhaled shakily and looked up a little, meeting Casimir’s eyes as tears began to roll down their cheeks.

Casimir cupped their face, gently wiping their tears. ‘I love you, sweetheart. So much. More than anything,’ he said softly, nuzzling his nose against his fiancé’s.

Georgie exhaled softly, leaning into Casimir’s touch and closing his eyes. “I know, baby. I love you, too~” She replied in a quiet voice, a tiny smile on her face.

Casimir gave a small smile, moving one arm to their waist and pulling them close. ‘Why would your brother think I don’t?’

Georgie sighed, wrapping his arm around Casimir’s torso. “Like I’ve said, he’s veryprotective of me. And I’ve been in some, not so great relationships and been fooled and blinded by love,” he said, exhaling softly.

Casimir frowned slightly. ‘Do you mind telling me about them?’
