“That’s good to hear,” Chris said with a small smile, rubbing Mason’s back. “Are you feeling any better?”

‘A little,’ Mason said quietly, resting his head on his chest.

“That’s good, that’s good,” Chris repeated again, smiling as he ran a hand through Mason’s hair.

Mason leaned into his touch.

Chris smiled, humming softly.

Mason closed his eyes again.

Chris held Mason closer, continuing to rub and trace shapes onto his back.

Chris leaned his head against the couch, watching Mason with a small smile.

“Do you wanna do anything else or is movie watching fine?” Chris asked, watching Mason with a smile.

‘I don’t care,’ Mason said.

“Not gonna lie, I kind of just wanna chill here,” Chris said with a chuckle, hugging Mason closer.

‘Fair enough,’ Mason said, nestling into his arms.
