Chris exhaled softly, lifting his head after a moment. “I’m sorry, I- f---, I’m supposed to be comforting you,” he said, chuckling awkwardly.

‘It’s okay,’ Mason said, giving a small smile.

Chris chuckled softly, hugging Mason close. “I really did miss you,” he murmured softly, resting his head on his shoulder.

Mason gave a small smile. ‘I missed you too,’ he said quietly.

Chris smiled a little, hugging Mason closer.
