Mason chuckled, burying his face in Chris’s shirt.

Chris blushed and smiled, running a hand through Mason’s hair.

Mason leaned onto his touch

Chris hummed softly, holding Mason close with a smile. “God, I’ve missed this so much,” he murmured softly, closing his eyes.

Mason chuckled.

Chris hummed softly, hugging Mason closer. “What, you didn’t miss it~?” He asked jokingly, chuckling softly.

‘I dunno. I was too mad at you to miss it,’ Mason admitted.

Chris exhaled softly, leaning his head back against the couch armrest. “No, yeah, that’s- that’s fair,” he murmured softly, staring at the ceiling.

Mason didn’t respond.

“I- I really am sorry, Mason,” Chris murmured softly, his voice beginning to shake.

‘I know,’ Mason mumbled, burying his face in his chest.

Chris exhaled shakily, hugging Mason close and rubbing his back.

Mason hugged into him tightly.

Chris closed his eyes, trying to stop himself from bursting into tears. God, don’t f---ing cry- You don’t deserve his forgiveness, you don’t deserve his pity-

Mason rubbed his side with his thumb, exhaling softly.
