"Sounds good." Naomi said, a small shudder going down her spine as she realized how easy it was to kill her now. She had a large kill me please! target on her back.

“Don’t worry, alright? I won’t let anything happen to you,” Adrienne said softly, looking back at Naomi for a moment. -
Naomi nodded, looking back at them. She was surprised how kind Adrienne seemed. She thought an assassin would be more... Cold.

“Alright, I think we’ve got ourselves some transportation,” Adrienne said, heading down the emergency stairs.

"Ok." Naomi went down close behind her.

They soon made it to the bottom of the stairs, pushing open the door. “Alright, we’re gonna have to make a run for the meet up spot,” she spoke, looking back at Naomi.

Naomi nodded. "Sounds good."

Sirens begin to blare from down the block and Adrienne’s breath hitches, panic beginning to rise. “Yeah, we’ve got to go now-“ She grabbed Naomi’s hand, beginning to run.

Naomi didn't need to be told twice. She ran with them, trying to block out the thoughts of panic from her mind.

Adrienne glanced back every so often, checking to make sure Naomi was fine and that no one was chasing them.

Naomi tried not to look behind to often, knowing that whenever she did, she just ended up slowing down.

“Almost there!” Adrienne said, and soon they ended up at an old bus stop that was out of order. She slowed to a stop, exhaling softly as she caught her breath. “Our ride should be here soon, so you can take a breather.”

Naomi nodded, breathing heavily.

Adrienne walked over to the small bench, sitting down and resting for a moment. She pulled back out her phone, seeing messages from her boss already coming in. She sighed a little too heavily than she wanted to, pocketing her phone.

Naomi frowned. "Is something wrong?"
