“Got it! Hold on tight,” Adrienne said, beginning to pull Naomi up.

Naomi didn't need them to tell her to hold on tight. She already was. Her knuckles were white.

Adrienne soon pulled Naomi up, helping her to her feet. “You all good?”

"Yup. I'm great. Just worrying about falling to my death, that's all." Naomi tried not to stumble and fall once she got to her feet.

“Relax, I wasn’t gonna drop you~” Adrienne said, winking at Naomi. “Alright, now what’s the next step,” she said, pulling out her phone.

Naomi blushed, feeling her face grow hot as she did. Oh my GOD, stop it, you are NOT falling for an ASSASSIN! Especially not one supposed to kill YOU!

“Okay, so, we’re definitely got to get you out of here,” Adrienne said, pocketing her phone. “And we’re gonna have to jump over to the next building.”

"Jump?" Naomi's eyes widened. "Do you realize how high up we are?!"

“It’s not even that far of a jump, calm your tits,” Adrienne said, rolling her eyes. “C’mon, this way,” she added, turning and walking off.

"I don't care! I don't want to die by falling off college campus!" Naomi followed her.

“Ugh- Fine, we’ll take the emergency stairs, then,” Adrienne said with a sigh, walking over to the entrance to the stairs on the side of the building.

Naomi followed her down the stairs.

“So, next I’m gonna take you to my warehouse, and to the safe house,” Adrienne said, pulling out her phone and checking something.

Naomi nodded in understanding. "What're you doing on your phone? Organizing new ways to kill me?" She was only half joking when she asked.

“Maybe~” Adrienne teased, chuckling. “No, I’m making sure I can get us a ride to the safe house, and make sure no one tries to swoop in, kidnap you and kill you.”
