“No, he’s not here-“ “So is he the reason why you’ve been sneaking out all this time at night?” Finn asked, chuckling softly. “And don’t lie, me and Aurthur saw you sneaking out last night while we were talking~”

Arthur grinned, nodding quickly. “Yeah we saw you-“ “Wait- so… didn’t you say you lived kinda far away?? How did you see him last night?” Elliot asked, furrowing his brows.

“Uhh, s---- Well, the thing is,” Connor said awkward, rubbing the back of his neck. “Yeah, plus you said you got a ride here on the first day,” Finn spoke, crossing his arms. -

“WAIT-“ MJ paused, thinking for a moment. “Does he-“ “He works at the other camp, doesn’t he?” Elliot cut MJ off, making the boy glare angrily at him. “Hey!” MJ exclaimed, gently shoving his friend. -
“Ooh, drama~” Finn teased, smirking. Connor groaned softly, rubbing his face. “Fine- Yes, he does. But don’t tell anyone, okay? The drama between our camps enough to deal with, not to mention I almost got him in trouble a bit ago.”

“Wait, what did you do?” Arthur said curiously, a grin on his face.

“Nothing weird, or bad,” Connor spoke, exhaling softly. “He- He wasn’t doing super great, so I went to check on him and make sure he was okay, but then when I was heading back we got caught by one of the other counselors. Thankfully, she hasn’t told anyone. Otherwise we’d be screwed.” “Yeah, wouldn’t the camp directors get pissed if they knew you were even talking to your boyfriend, who’s working for the other camp?” Finn said, leaning against Aurthur’s side.

“Oh they probably would,” Elliot said with a nod, crossing his arms. Arthur froze, glancing over to watch Finn with a nervous but slightly excited look, squeezing his hand.

“Yeah, but don’t worry, we won’t tell- Well, I’m sure they’ll accidentally blab about it and the others will find out, but me and Aurthur won’t tell~“ Finn joked, gesturing to Elliot and MJ.

“Hey! I can keep secrets!” Elliot said with a chuckle, crossing his arms. “Same!” MJ agreed, mirroring Elliot’s stance. “What about that time Jon asked you guys to-“ “OKAY! Okay, we’re gonna end this conversation, Finn, count us off,” Elliot said quickly, cutting Arthur off and getting in position to start the obstacle course with MJ.

Finn laughed and nodded, gently squeezing Aurthur’s hand. “On your marks, get set…. Go!”

Arthur cheered as they went, Elliot eventually winning and flopping onto his back once he finished. “Woo! I reign supreme!!” He cheered breathlessly.

“Nicee~” Finn said with a chuckle, sitting up a little. “You gonna race Elliot, Aurthur?”

“Hell yeah,” Arthur said with a chuckle, letting go of Finn’s hand and standing. “No! Give me a second,” Elliot said, standing and slowly walking back to the start. “I need to refuel- where’s my water bottle?”

“Right here,” Connor said, tossing Elliot his water bottle. “Good luck~” Finn said with a smile, gently squeezing Aurthur’s hand before letting go.
