Finn nodded, a small smile on his face. “Right, yeah,” he spoke, chuckling softly. “Sorry, I just- First time out to anyone that wasn’t my parents, it didn’t go too well.”

Finn furrowed his brows. “That sucks. People are a--holes, y’know?”

“Yeah, people are a--holes sometimes,” Finn said with a chuckle, moving over at Aurthur. “You’re pretty chill, though~” He nudged his side with his elbow, winking at him before walking over to the door, grabbing his shoes.

Arthur blushed brighter, watching Finn leave before snapping out of it and moving to brush his teeth.

“Damn, y’all are really slow moving this morning, aren’t you?” Connor said, poking his head back in the cabin. “I’m almost ready, calm down,” Finn said with a chuckle, rolling his eyes.

The two boys came out of the bathroom after a moment, Arthur right behind them. They were all laughing about something, heading outside to put their shoes on. “We have arrived!” MJ said with a laugh.

“Took y’all long enough,” Connor said with a chuckle, standing up from the rocking chair he sat in. “Alright, we ready to head to the obstacle course?” “Obstacle course? Hell yeah,” Finn said with a smile, moving over to Aurthur’s side.

“Holy s---, I didn’t realize we were doing that today!” Elliot said with a chuckle. Arthur smile, glancing at Finn as they walked.

“Did you forget? I literally told you guys yesterday,” Connor said with a chuckle, glancing back for a moment as they walked. Finn lowered his left hand to his side, occasionally letting his hand brush against Aurthur’s as they walked.

“Yeah, I got distracted,” MJ said with a laugh. Arthur eventually willed up the confidence, grabbing Finn’s hand.

“Mhm, sure,” Connor said with a chuckle. Finn blushed red and gently squeezed Aurthur’s hand, twining their fingers together.

“Bro, my best friend was just caught cuddling with some dude!” Elliot said with a chuckle. “I thought I was your best friend-“ MJ said, pouting playfully. Arthur flushed red, smiling and looking at the ground.

“Pretty sure he’s my best friend now~“ Finn teased, nudging Aurthur’s side with his elbow. He leaned against his side, gently squeezing his hand. “Damn, he got you there,” Connor said with a chuckle, glancing back at the boys.

Arthur flushed red, lifting his head. “What?” MJ and Elliot burst out laughing. “It’s okay, Elliot, we can still be best friends,” MJ said with a chuckle.

Finn laughed softly, rubbing the back of Aurthur’s hand with his thumb. “Okay, the real question, though- Who’s ready to get their ass kicked on the obstacle course by their counselor?” Connor joked, chuckling.
