“I don’t care about the whining- I mean, I whine whenever you top, it’s normal,” Connor said with a chuckle, gently squeezing Evan’s hand. “I don’t get annoyed by it or anything, if that’s what you’re thinking-“

“No, I think I’m more annoyed about it than about that,” Evan said softly, yawning. “Like- I feel like I always have something to complain about. But my life is- it’s great! Like I have no reason to complain, y’know?”

“I definitely used to feel like that,” Connor said, chuckling softly. “Then when I started seeing my therapist, I definitely started learning to like, actually appreciate the things in my life. I mean, I still complain about things, but I’ve been getting better at not doing that~”

Evan nodded a little, going quiet and staring out the window past Connor. “Yeah. I- I do appreciate the things in my life, though. Like- I feel like complaining is a habit at this point.”

“I definitely feel that,” Connor replied, nodding. “But hey, I’. always here if you need to talk, okay?”

Evan nodded quietly. “You don’t- you don’t think I’m annoying, right? Like- not to be pick-me, but like,” he paused, chuckling quietly. “I feel like- do you think I use you…? Like, when I’m like, upset. Y’know? You don’t dread having to talk to me because of my problems, right?”

“God, no, baby- I love talking to you~” Connor said, smiling, “Hell, it’s even one of the reasons why I’m leaning ro become a therapist in real life-“

Evan frowned a little bit, in slight disbelief. “But- but, you’re doing it mainly because you like it, right? Not because of me-“

“Yes, you doof! I promise, I’m not doing it because I feel obligated,” Connor replied, smiling. “Seriously, I enjoy talking to people about their issues because~”

Evan smiled a little bit, chuckling. “Okay, okay. I get it,” he said, leaning his head against the headrest with a tired smile.

“Seriously, don’t feel like you’re burdening me with your complaining,” Connor spoke with a sympathetic smile, kissing the back of Evan’s hand. “I love listening to you talk, anyways~” -

Even smiled gently, struggling to keep his eyes open. “Tell me if I ever am though, okay? You can yell at me if you want,” he said with a tired chuckle. -

(pretty good- i did kinda ruin my sheets, bc APPARENTLY, there was a marker on my bed, and the cap came off, and made a HUGE purple spot on my comforter >:((((
other than that, i’m fine ig- still feel like s---, bc i have a cold- so fun :’))
