“Because my kids told me some guy got fired because they got caught with someone of the other camp,” Evan said with a chuckle. “I’m scared, I don’t wanna get fired-“ He said, laughing quietly as he drove away.
-
“s---, really?” Connor asked, chuckling as he held out his hand to Evan. “Is it because of the whole rival camps thing? I heard something about that talking with some of the counselors.”
-
“Yeah, it’s apparently crazy,” Evan said with a chuckle, taking Connor’s hand.
-
“That does sound crazy,” Connor agreed, gently squeezing Evan’s hand. “Oh- Guess what your dumb--- boyfriend didn’t do today,” he said, stifling a laugh.
-
“Oh God, what?” Evan said with a giggle, glancing over to him.
-
“I forgot to out on sunscreen when I went out to the lake,” Connor said as he let go of Evan’s hand for a moment, sitting up a little and pulling up the sleeve of his t-shirt, revealing only a part of the large sunburn on his skin, “and I got burnt. Really f---in’ bad- It hurts so much, babe,” he whined, chuckling softly.
-
Evan laughed, hitting Connor’s shoulder after they had pulled into the Walmart parking lot. “Holy s---, that’s bad, Connor- How long were you out there?”
-
“I don’t know, a few hours?” Connor replied, chuckling painfully as he gently rubbed his arm. “I might just need to go in and buy some aloe vera,” he added, looking back at Evan. “It’s all on my chest and back, too- It’s so bad, Ev-“
-
“Aw, you poor thing,” Evan said with a giggle. “Yeah, you should probably grab some- you’re gonna need it.”
-
Connor groaned softly, leaning back in his seat. “Did I bring my wallet, though, that’s the question,” he murmured, patting his pockets for a moment. “Ah, here it is,” he said, pulling out his wallet
-
“Oh- dude, I made a bet with my kids that if they can guess who gave me the hickey I’ll buy em a candy bar-“ Evan said, laughing.
-
“PFFT- Oh my God, you’re joking,” Connor said, laughing softly. “Are they still guessing random girls who work at your camp?”
-
“No, they’ve guess I was gay by now,” Evan said with a laugh. “One of ‘em said I “stand in a gay way’- like what does that even mean???”
-
“I mean, they’re not wrong,” Connor said with a chuckle, smirking playfully at Evan.
-
Evan scoffed, his jaw dropping. “Shut up! It’s not true!”
