“And yet, here you are, dating me~” Connor teased, smirking playfully as he practically marched to the chip aisle.

Evan laughed, shaking his head. “I never said you weren’t a cute idiot~”

“So you’re only dating me for my looks?! Shame on you, Evan, shame on you~” Connor joked with a playful smirk, chuckling as he started inspecting the chips and searching for the snacks he needed to buy.

Evan giggled, leaning onto the cart. “I’m not ashamed~”

“Pfft- That’s crazy,” Connor said, laughing as he grabbed two bags and put them in the shopping cart.

“Your moms crazy,” Evan said with a giggle, sticking his tongue out at Connor.

“Woahh! Don’t you talk about my mom like that!” Connor joked with a laugh, wrapping an arm around Evan’s waist and kissing his cheek. “I mean, you’re not wrong, but still-“

“Whaat? Your mom isn’t that crazy,” Evan said with a giggle.

“Pfft- You don’t know her like I do, babe- Literally lived with her for 18 years,” Connor said, chuckling softly as he rubbed Evan’s side with his thumb.

“I feel like I did- but how is she crazy?” Evan asked with a chuckle.

“She’s just a bit of a mess, but a great mom, aside from her obsession with documenting literally everything Chloe and I do,” Connor said, chuckling as he leaned into Evan’s side.

“Like, what has she documented?” Evan asked, glancing up at Connor.

“Too much stuff- Most of it’s really embarrassing stuff, like from middle school,” Connor said with an awkward chuckle, resting his head on his boyfriend’s shoulder. “Chloe and I tried getting rid of the evidence, but our mom got mad-“

“Absolutely not, they’re the cringiest things ever,” Connor said, laughing softly as he leaned into Evan’s touch.
