“Okay, so, he’s already tried to tell his parents about it, and it did t go well,” Evan said quietly. “And he doesn’t want them to know, anyways. And they live really far away- so if I can tell my higher-ups and they’ll probably tell CPS.”

“I guess that makes sense,” Connor said, nodding. He exhaled softly, leaning his side against the seat and rubbing the back of Evan’s hand with his thumb. “Well, let me know if there’s anything I can do to help, okay?”

“Yeah, probably not, but thank you,” Evan said with a smile, squeezing Connor’s hand. “So, what did you do today?”

“The usual, swimming, arts and crafts, get harassed my kids,” Connor said, chuckling softly.

“Oh nice, nice,” Evan said with a giggle, rubbing the back of Connor’s hand with his thumb.

Connor chuckled, admiring Evan with a smile. “Was your day good, other than that bit of chaos?”

“Yeah, it was,” Evan said with a nod, smiling. “I need to go get some stuff from the store, though.”

“Right yeah- Want me to help you?” Connor asked, leaning forward and lifting Evan’s hand, pressing a kiss on his knuckles.

“Yeah, come with me,”Evan said with a smile, opening the car door and moving to stand.

Connor smiled and nodded, getting out of the car and shutting the door. He walked over to Evan’s side, wrapping his arm around his boyfriend’s waist as they walked towards the store.

Evan smiled brightly, leaning against Connor for a moment as they walked. They walked inside, Evan grabbing a cart.

Connor smiled, pressing a kiss on the side of Evan’s hand. “I might get some stuff for my boys, too-“ He said, patting his pockets for a moment. “Never mind, forgot my f---ing wallet-“

“I can pay for it, don’t worry about it,” Evan said with a smile, shrugging.

“No, you don’t have to do that,” Connor said, chuckling softly.

“Why not? You pay for my s--- all the time, we literally live together,” Evan said with a shrug.
