“I- Yeah, that’s true,” Connor said, chuckling awkwardly, “I just, I dunno, sometimes I feel like I’m taking advantage of you- Even though you’re my boyfriend and you wanna pay for me-“

“Yeah, don’t worry about it,” Evan said with a smile, squeezing Connor’s hand. “Let me spoil you~”

Connor smiled, leaning into Evan’s side. “You’re too sweet, f---in’ hell~” He kissed his cheek, humming softly.

“You’re too sweet for meeee~” Evan’s sang, Hozier’s song popping into his head. He giggled, glancing over at Connor.

“My coffee black, and my bed at three~” Connor sang quietly with a smile, pressing a kiss on Evan’s jaw.

“You’re not a bad singer, y’know,” Evan said with a chuckle, turning down an isle.

“Thanks- I’m definitely not as good as my sister, but I guess I’m not terrible,” Connor said, chuckling softly.

“Oh right, she does theatre,” Evan said with a nod. “Makes sense. It runs in the family?”

“Nah- She’s kinda the only one who does it,” Connor said, rubbing the back of Evan’s hand with his thumb. “I did do choir for a few years, in middle school. I mean, I was forced to do it with Chloe, but it was fun~”

“Shut up, that’s adorable,” Evan said with a smile, chuckling. “Are there any videos of it?”

“My mom might have some, yeah,” Connor said, chuckling. “I’ll definitely send you them, they were pretty good, not gonna lie- It was like, kind of an arts school, so the choir director was like, a professional ‘n stuff.”

“Oo, fancy,” Evan said with a chuckle, yawning. “But I bet you were adorable~”

“Pfft- Hell no, I was so f---in’ emo in middle school,” Connor said, laughing.

“Oh, I believe it,” Evan said with a chuckle, shaking his head.

“I mean, I wasn’t like, ‘nO OnE uNdErStAnDs mE-‘ kind of emo, but it was still awful,” Connor said, chuckling softly.
