‘No. He’s a good friend but I don’t like him romantically,’ Hazel muttered.

Jackie sighed. "I really am sorry." He pulled the cover on him.

‘I know. Since you’re gonna be getting me some French bread tomorrow with the money dad got you for your birthday, I forgive you.’

"What!" Jackie complained, but he nodded.

Hazel gave a small smile and looked back down at her phone. ‘Thanks~’

"You're welcome." Jackie chuckled.

Hazel grinned.

Jackie rolled his eyes. "Night."

Jackie closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep.

Hazel watched him for a moment. She put down her phone and rolled over, doing the same.

Jackie tossed and turned as he tried, but eventually he managed to fall asleep.
