"Ooh, nice~" Karl said with a smile, setting it out on the counter. "Figured you guys might like it," John said with a smile, pulling out the bottle of wine and small case of beed, setting them out.

Nick chuckled quietly, moving to put the bottle in the fridge. "Is the Mac n' cheese cool enough, Mom?"

"Yeah, should be ready! Could you bring it in here, Nick?" His mother asked from in the dining room.

"Yep!" Nick called, grabbing the tray of Mac n' cheese and carefully bringing it out and setting it on the dining table.

"Thanks, hun," Nick's mom said with a smile, going to grab some cups. John grabbed a beer and walked over to the dining room table, sitting down. Karl hummed softly as he searched for a wine bottle opener, going to open up the drink and pour himself a little. "You want some, baby?" He asked, looking over at Nick.

“I would love some,” Nick said with a smile, looking over to Karl and walking over to him.

Karl smiled and grabbed another glass, pouring Nick some wine. He set the bottle down and grabbed his drink, taking a sip. "Mm, tastes good~" He said with a smile, looking over at Nick.

“I’m gonna be honest- I don’t think I’ve ever actually had wine-“ Nick said with a chuckle, grabbing the glass. He swished it around, like he saw adults do with wine, before taking a sip. “Damn- I dunno how to feel about that-“

Karl giggled, taking another sip. "It's an accustomed taste, I think- Some people like it, some people don't," he said, shrugging. "I'm definitely a fan of wine~"

“Okay, mr fancy-pants,” Nick said with a chuckle, taking another sip. “I bet you’re funny wine drunk, though.”

Karl giggled, nodding. "Something like that~" He said, heading into the dining room.

Nick chuckled, following him and sitting next to him. He grabbed the mac n’ cheese which everyone already there had served themselves.

Karl took another sip of his wine, humming as he waited to get himself some.

“Well, mom, that was great, thanks,” Nick said with a smile, grabbing his plate and everyone else’s, stacking them up and heading into the kitchen. -

"Yeah, it was great~" Karl said with a smile, his words blurring together a little from the fact that he was a little tipsy already. He giggled as he stood, following Nick into the kitchen with his drink. He took another sip, going to fill his drink up for the third time tonight.
