“I will, I will,” Nick said with a smile, starting the car and driving off. “Am I getting on the highway? Could you pull up the directions?” -
"Do we wanna go to the big light show thingie, or check out some of the neighborhoods first?" Karl asked, pulling out his phone.

“Uh, like just drive around and see what random houses have the best ones?” Nick asked, turning onto the main road. “Yeah, we can do that.”

"Yeah~" Karl said with a smile, nodding. "There's this one close by, I've seen people posting about how cool some of the houses look~!" He pulled up the address, putting it into the GPS.

“Oo, that sounds fun,” Nick said with a smile, glancing at the GPS and heading the way it told him to.

Karl nodded, smiling. He messed with the radio for a moment, change the channel until it got onto one that was playing Christmas music.

Nick hummed along to the music, and they arrived somewhat quickly.

"Ooh, I love the decorations at the entrance~" Karl said with a smile, watching as the drove into the neighborhood. "Very nice~"

Nick nodded, smiling as he looked at them. “Dude, I love the inflatables,” he said with a chuckle, pointing to a inflatable snoopy.

"Same- Gosh, the one thing I wish we could've done for decorations is put up inflatables," Karl said, sighing. "We're totally gonna do that when we get a house though, right?? Pleeeeaase tell me that's what we're gonna do~"

“Oh, hell yeah,” Nick said with a chuckle, glancing at Karl before back the road. “We’ll get a bunch of ‘em.”

Karl smiled, giggling happily. He rested his hand on the center console, offering it to Nick as he looked at the different houses and their decor.

Nick immediately took his hand, glancing around with him and driving slow. “Do you like the white or rainbow lights better?”

"Mmm, well, the rainbow lights are very gay, and we love that," Karl said, giggling softly. "But I think white lights are better for Christmas trees, definitely. Rainbow lights for outside decorating, for sure~"

Nick nodded thoughtfully as Karl talked. “Wow, that was a really good way to say it, honestly. But if you had to choose- wait, if you were given the choice, you had to choose between rainbow and white lights, and your choice you could only use those when decorating, or only see those around. Which ones would you choose?”
