Nick shut the car off, climbing out and stretching. “God, I still hate that drive.” -
Karl climbed out of the car and groaned softly as he stretched, nodding. "Yeah, it's dreadful," he said with a sigh, rubbing his face with his hands.

“It’s nice to do it with you, though,” Nick said with a smile, looking over to Karl and walking over to him.

"Mm, true~" Karl said with a smile, nodding. He moved over to Nick and wrapped his arms around his neck, pressing a kiss on his lips.

Nick kissed him back. “Let’s go see my parents, okay? I’m pretty sure your dad is here, right?” He said with a smile, pulling away and wrapping his arm around Karl’s waist.

"Yeah, he should be," Karl replied with a smile, leaning into Nick's side as they walked towards the house.

Nick smiled, squeezing his side. He knocked on the door, waiting for someone to come answer. “Y’know, I don’t think I’ve ever knocked on this door, I could always open it myself,” he said with a chuckle.

Karl giggled, leaning into Nick's side. The door opened and the boys were bombarded almost instantly with hugs. "Ay, my boys are back!" Nick's mother said with a smile, hugging them tight.

Nick chuckled happily, hugging his mom back. “Hi, mom. How are you?”

"Good, I've been good," Nick's mother said with a smile, letting go of the boys. "How've you two been~?" Karl chuckled, pulling back. "Good- Nick's been out of classes, so it's been really great getting to just, relax a bit~"

“Yeah- Oh, finals week was brutal,” Nick said with a groan, chuckling quietly. “I’m really lucky I had Karl with me, because I would’ve died otherwise.”

Karl nodded, giggling. Nick's mother laughed, backing up. "Well, come on in, you two, make yourselves comfortable~" She said, smiling. "And Karl, your dad's in the kitchen if you want to say hi~"

Nick nodded and smiled, walking in. “It’s so weird that this isn’t my house anymore, really.”
