"Yep! You wanna drive, or should I?" Karl asked, pulling out his keys.

“I can,” Nick said, holding out his hands for the keys.

Karl nodded and handed Nick the keys, smiling. He checked to make sure he had his wallet and phone before walking to the door, walking outside. He took a deep breath as he was hit by the cool air, smiling. "Mm, it feels so nice out here~"

“Karl, we’re still in the hallway, that’s just the air conditioning,” Nick said with a laugh, grabbing Karl’s hand and heading towards the stairs to exit the apartment complex.

"f--- off, a--hole, it was hot as blazes in our apartment," Karl muttered, glaring at Nick. "Like, seriously, why is the heat on so f---ing high?? I'm sweating my balls off in there."

Nick giggled quietly, squeezing Karl’s hand. “Because it’s better warm- you always make it so frikkin cold in there.”

"Because I overheat really easily," Karl whined, leaning into Nick's side. "Like, I feel like I'm suffocating in the heat, on God-" He giggled softly, gently squeezing Nick's hand.

Nick giggled quietly. “I’m sorry,” he said, kissing Karl’s cheek. “But I hate the cold. I think it’s like, one of my least favorite things.”

"Well, womp womp," Karl teased, playfully smirking at Nick, "but I cannot stand having the heat up that much, it's so f---ing uncomfortable- Makes me wanna rip my hair off my head." He giggled, letting go of his boyfriend's hand to link their arms together.

“Hm, that’s fair,” Nick shrugged, stuffing his hands in his pocket as they left the apartment complex and walked over to Karl’s car. “I only turned it up because you were gone at work for the morning- I don’t usually forgot turn it off, but I guess I did,” he said with a chuckle.

"It's fine, just- please don't keep it super high," Karl said with a short laugh, walking over to his car. "Seriously, the heat gets me very overwhelmed and overstimulated, I don't know why-"

“No, I understand,” Nick said with a chuckle, sliding into the drivers seat and buckling up. “I’ll just wear a heavy sweatshirt or something.” -

Karl opened the passenger side door, climbing into the car. "Sorry, I- You don't have to keep it cooler in the apartment just for me," he murmured, a hint of guilt in his voice. -

“No, hun, don’t worry about it,” Nick shrugged. “I don’t care that much. And my problems are way more fixable then yours, so.” -

Karl looked over at Nick and nodded, buckling up. "Okay, just- tell me if you get too cold and we can turn it up, okay~?" He asked, smiling at his boyfriend.
