Nick took one, grabbing Karls free hand and walking out of the store. “Well, this was successful,no?”

"Very successful, indeed~" Karl replied with a smile, nodding.

Nick giggled quietly, linking arms with Karl again once they went out in the cold. He stuck his hands in his pocket, shivering. “I hate the cold.”

"I quite like the cold," Karl replied, smiling. "I mean, I grew up in a colder place, so I'm used to it."

“Where’d you grow up?” Nick asked, still shivering. “I feel like I should know this-“

"In North Carolina," Karl replied, chuckling. "Gets pretty cold around winter time, which is nice~ So, I've grown pretty accustom to the cold weather."

“Isn’t North Carolina in the South?” Nick asked with a laugh, huddling close to Karl.

"No- Wait," Karl said, thinking for a moment. "Well- It was more near the mountains, okay? Shut up," he whined, leaning against Nick's side.

Nick giggled. “I mean, it’s colder than Texas, so I don’t know why I’m arguing with you,” he shrugged. “But I will never, ever, get used to the cold, it’s awful.”

"You're just being whiney- The cold is amazing~" Karl teased, giggling. "Plus, snow? Snow is literally the best, it used to snow all the time back where I used to live. It was spectacular~"

“Ehh the snows okay until it gets all muddy and slushy,” Nick said, kicking a rock. “I mean, that’s the only snow I’ve seen most of my life. It doesn’t snow much where I’ve lived.”

"It's beautiful when it's heavy and it actually covers the ground with more than an inch~" Karl said, giggling softly. "Seriously, snow days are amazing, hun- Gosh, I hope it snows here, that'd be a dream come true~"

Nick chuckled quietly. “I bet it will, we’re pretty far north. Maybe we’ll have a white Christmas~”

"OH MY GOD YES- Aww, wait, our first Christmas together being a white Christmas? I would die of happiness~!" Karl exclaimed with a smile, giggling happily.

Nick giggled quietly, leaning close to Karl. “We’d have to build a snowman, obviously. And he’d be gay, too.”
