“Oh, okay, good,” Nick said with a chuckle, opening the box. “Oh, yeah, this is fine.”

"Yeah, see? This'll be easy~" Karl said as he grabbed the box, moving it over to the tree. He started grabbing ornaments, hanging them on the tree.

“Yeah, okay,” Nick said with a chuckle, grabbing a couple ornaments and hanging them up.

Karl giggled, continuing to put up ornaments. He glanced at the TV every now and again, watching snippets of the Hallmark movie that played. "Wait, holy s--- I just realized who the main girl is," he said with a laugh, looking at the TV.

“Who?” Nick asked, glancing over to the TV.

"She's the girl who plays Elsa in Frozen, Idina Menzel!" Karl exclaimed, laughing as he pointed at the screen. "That's f---in' crazy, she's in literally so many Hallmark movies and I never recognized her until now-"

same with the girl who played gretchen from mean girls lmfaooo) -
“What??” Nick chuckled. “Wait, that’s actually so crazy. Why does she stoop down to Hallmarks level?” he said jokingly, putting in more ornaments.

"Literally, she's got like nothing better to be in, apparently," Karl said, giggling as he went back to putting ornaments on the tree. -

“But- she has such a good voice,” Nick said, furrowing his brows. “Wouldn’t musicals want her instead of, y’know, Hallmark?” -
"Mm, true," Karl replied with a chuckle, nodding. "She ate as Elphaba in Wicked, though," he added, glancing at the TV.

Nick was quiet for a second, thinking. “I don’t think I’d bet watched Wicked. Or at least paid attention.”

"Ooh, I so need to show you a recording of one of the shows," Karl replied, smiling. "It's a really good show~"

“I believe it,” Nick said, glancing at the TV as he hung an ornament up. “I’ve heard really good things about it.”

"It really is good," Karl said, nodding as he finished the one section and moving to a different spot of the tree. He grabbed more ornaments, adding them to the tree.

After a few more minutes, the ornaments were all up on the tree. Nick stepped back to admire it with a smile. “Wow, our first tree together.”
