Karl giggled and nodded, turning back to the tree. He started putting the lights on, arranging them among the branches. -

Nick helped him, strategically placing his lights ont he floor before going over and helping him wrap them around the tree. -
Karl hummed along the the music as he moved around the tree, adjusting the string of lights.

Nick chuckled, singing along quietly until all the lights were on. “Perfect! They look great,” he said, stepping back to admire them.

"Yeah, lookin' beautiful~" Karl said with a smile, stepping back and admiring the tree.

“Yeah, really is~” Nick said, admiring Karl for a moment and pressing a kiss on his cheek.

Karl giggled and looked over at Nick, smiling. "Now ca I get that hug?" He asked, giggling as he wrapped his arms around his boyfriend's torso.

“Hell yeah,” Nick said with a chuckle, wrapping his arms around Karl and squeezing him gently. “I wouldn’t want to be spending this Christmas with anybody else~” he said softly, pressing a kiss on Karl’s forehead.

"Me either~" Karl replied with a smile, hugging Nick close. He rested his head against his boyfriend's chest, humming along to the music that continued to play. "I love you~"

Nick smiled, humming softly. “I love you too, Karl~”

Karl smiled as he gave Nick a quick squeeze, letting go of him after a moment. "Alright, let's get back to decorating- Ooh, after, we should watch cringey Hallmark movies," he said, giggling softly.

“Oh my God- you’re so smart,” Nick said with a laugh, running over to the couch and grabbing the remote. He turned on the Hallmark channel before moving back to Karl. “How many ornaments do we have?”

"A lot," Karl said, laughing as he walked over to the box with the ornaments.

“Oh s---,” Nick said jokingly, chuckling as he followed Karl. “How- how are we gonna fit these on that tree??”

"We don't have to do them all," Karl said, giggling. "And it's not that many, I'm obviously over exaggerating."
