"Definitely~" Karl said, giggling. "OH MY GOD- it can be like the scene from Heartstopper, where Nick and Charlie have their little snow day~"

Nick giggled. “I bet that’s self-explanatory, but I’ve never read or watched heartstopper.”

Karl dramatically gasped, looking over at Nick. "Oh, we're so watching it when we get back," he said, smirking. "I think you'll like it, it's really cute~"

Nick giggled a little. “Sure, yeah, I think I’ll like it.”

Karl smiled, leaning closer to Nick's side. "Do you know anything about the story, or are you going in blind?"

“Uh, no, I don’t know anything,” Nick shrugged. “I know it’s about gay guys, but nothing more.” He chuckled.

Karl giggled, nodding. "And that's just one of the many reasons why it's such a good show- And a good book series~"

Nick laughed. “Do you want me to do both?”

"If you'd like- I totally recommend it~" Karl said with a smile. "I will say, bit of a warning, it can get kind of dark with some topics of some, pretty deep s---."

Nick shrugged. “Okay. I’m cool with that. And do you have the books? I’m pretty sure I packed them in the boxes.”

"Mhm, I have all of Heartstopper, and then one of Alice's other books, too~" Karl replied with a smile.

“Is that the author, or?” Nick asked as they turned into their apartment complex, furrowing his brows.

"Mhm, Alice Oseman," Karl replied with a nod, heading up the steps to their door. He pulled his key out the pocket of his jeans, unlocking the door and walking inside. "She's an incredible author, and artist~"

“Does she write and draw all of them?” Nick asked, following Karl j side and unzipping his jacket.

"Yeah, I think so- They're in like, a sort of comic style, with her art 'n everything," Karl said with a smile, taking off his jacket and hanging it up. "Seriously, she's so creative with her art and writing~"
