"I kind of want some ice cream before we go back to decorating," Karl replied, smiling at his boyfriend.

“Oo, yeah, that should be good now,” he said, standing and heading to the kitchen. He grabbed both the containers out and set them on the counter, moving to grab the bowls.

Karl followed Nick into the kitchen and grabbed two spoons, grabbing the gingerbread ice cream container and opening it. He got a few scoops and put them into one bowl after handing a spoon to Nick, humming as he took a bite. "Mm, it's really good~"

Nick looked up from the counter where he was scooping his own ice cream, grabbing a spoon and stepping over. “Wait, lemme taste it,” he said, taking a minuscule scoop and eating it, keeping the spoon in his mouth for a second before speaking. “Oh, hell yeah, that’s better than I thought it was gonna be.”

"I know, right?" Karl said with a laugh, nodding. He took another bite, smiling. "Mmm, tastes almost exactly like gingerbread~"

“It really does,” Nick said with a nod, putting the two containers away in the freezer before turning and leaning against the counter with his ice cream.

Karl moved to stand beside Nick, leaning against his side as he ate his ice cream. "No matter how cold it gets, I will always enjoy ice cream," he said with a giggle, smiling.

Nick giggled, nodding and looking over to Karl. “Now, that, that I agree on. Ice cream is too good to be avoided for the cold.”

"Amen," Karl said, giggling. He took another bite of his ice cream, smiling.

Nick giggled quietly, leaning on Karl’s side. He sighed quietly as he took a bite of his ice cream. “God, I’m so happy school is over for the semester.”

"I'm quite happy too, because that means more alone time~" Karl said with a giggle, setting his ice cream down for a moment and wrapping his arms around Nick's waist.

Nick giggled, setting down his ice cream as well and moving to wrap his arms around Karl. “That’s true~ I love spending time with you, hun, you know that?”

"I know, and I love spending time with you, too, baby~" Karl replied with a smile, leaning forward and kissing Nick on the lips.

Nick giggled quietly, kissing Karl back and pulling him close. “I love you~” he said softly after pulling away.

"I love you, too~" Karl replied, giggling happily. He kissed Nick again, hugging him close.
