Karl hugged Nick close and rubbed his back, pressing tired, lazy kisses on his head. "I promise, you'll do amazing," he whispered, smiling gently. "Plus, sleeping helps you soak up the information better- At least I think so, I saw it once on like, Tiktok or something," he added, giggling quietly.

Nick scoffed playfully, giggling as he nuzzling into the nook of Karl’s neck. “Wow, that sounds so trustworthy.”

"I know, right?" Karl joked, giggling. He hummed softly as he held Nick close, continuing to press lazy kisses on Nick's head. He yawned softly, his eyes struggling to stay open. "But seriously, you're-" He paused, yawning again, "you're gonna do great, baby~"

Nick giggled tiredly, gripping Karl’s shirt. “I hope so,” he pressed a few kisses on the brunettes neck. “I love you, honey.”

"I love you too, darling~" Karl said with a tired smile, hugging Nick close. He yawned softly, letting his eyes flutter shut and soon falling asleep, his boyfriend in his arms.

Nick let his bag drop to the floor once he shut the apartment door behind him, putting his arms up and letting out a weak, tired, and triumphant shout. “I’m done!” -
Karl poked his head out of their bedroom, smiling. "How do you think you did?" He asked, walking over and holding out his hands to Nick and grabbing his boyfriend's, gently squeezing them.

“I think I did well,” Nick said with a shrug. “It wasn’t as hard as I expected, but I’m kinda glad I studied as much as I did.” He sighed. “That was my last final, so I’m finally done for Christmas break!”

Karl smiled, pulling Nick close and hugging him. "I'm so proud of you, baby! I knew you could do it~" He said with a smile, kissing him on the lips.

Nick smiled, kissing Karl back and wrapping his arms around him. “I couldn’t have done it without you, Karl, so thank you.”

"You're so very welcome, honey~" Karl said with a smile, hugging Nick close. "How do you wanna celebrate finishing your finals? I could DoorDash us more ice cream or something~"

“Oh, my God, please,” Nick said with a chuckle, lifting his head and pressing a kiss on Karl’s lips. “You always know what to say~”

Karl giggled and kissed Nick back, smiling happily. "I'll get right on it, then~ You want vanilla fudge, like you suggested last night?" He asked, pulling out his phone.
