How to feel

Onyx groaned again at the shrieking, squeezing their eyes shut tight. Calm down, they'll shut up eventually- Just wait it out. You can't lash out, not anymore...
-
Bee curled up on the couch and tried to sleep for hours. There were no blankets downstairs so she just had to brave the cold. She eventually fell asleep after midnight.
-
Harley fell asleep after a bit, surprising her.
-
Billie didn’t fall asleep until past midnight. He was snuggling his stuffed rabbit tightly.
-
Onyx soon fell asleep in their bed, exhaustion taking over and lowering their eyelids. They laid on their back, chest rising and falling with each slow, quiet breath.
-
Bee woke up early to Marta turning on the electricity and ringing the wake up bell. Bee's foot still didn't feel better today and worse, the ice pack was no longer cold so Bee was fairly upset. Marta charged down the stairs to start breakfast.
-
Harley woke up to the wake up bell. She hated it immediately. It sounded like a rusty alarm clock, only much, much louder.
-
Billie was already awake, and staring at the ceiling, completely zoned out with a blank expression.
-
Onyx jolted awake from the wake up bell, their heart racing. What the f--- was that- They groaned as they sat up, covering their ears. "So loud..."
-
Bee held her ankle and noticed it turned purple today. She watched the stairs as children started filtering into the recreation room.
-
Harley shot up, looking up at a few of the kids, as if it was their fault. Eventually she followed them.
-
Billie snapped back into reality and realised he was almost alone. He quickly stood up and jogged to catch up with the other kids, holding his bunny by the hand.
-
Onyx watched before standing, stretching. They followed after the boy with the bunny stuffed animal, lagging behind the group a bit.
-
Bee tried to move her ankle so it wouldn't be caught by any of the couch slammer kids. At that moment a kid ran into the couch.
-
Harley looked behind her and saw the two new kids behind her. "You're bringing the stuffie with you?" She asked, more curious than she was judgmental- though it didn't come off that way.
