imsoclueless Senior(sure yea :))
Karl sighed as he stood by the window, watching the parking lot. No movement, no cars pulling in or out. He sighed and slumped back in a nearby chair, pulling out his phone. No new messages... He stuffed his phone in his pocket, huffing in annoyance as he stood up.
(i just love it when my sister accuses me of never putting away stuff i get out, when I LITERALLY FKING DO- i'm so ready to fkin move out, jesus fkin christ...) -
(noo that’s the worst 😭
sisters can be so annoying smh)
Eloide looked at Karl, blowing out a breath. “Well, what can we do? Who do we know could also try and contact him, maybe? Instead of waiting and wallowing?” -
imsoclueless Senior(literally- she abt to catch these hands if she don't mind her damn business, tho >:(
/j ofc lmaoo)
Karl shrugged for a moment before pausing, looking up. "Well, I could maybe ask one of his brothers," he started bring the pups over to the play pen and guiding the others into the pen. "I don't know if I have one of their numbers, though..." -
(dangggg you get her lmao)
“Oh, I can find em,” Elodie said, chuckling. “Give me their names, I’ll look em up on my patio when we’re done with this.” -
imsoclueless Senior(lmfaooo)
Karl looked over at Elodie with a concerned look, chuckling awkwardly. "Why am I not surprised?" He said, shaking his head. "Their names are Clint and Clay." -
“Armstrong? I’m gonna assume they have the same last names as Nick,” Elodie chuckled. “I have my talents, okay,” He chuckled, heading towards the door. “I’ll be right back with those~”
-
imsoclueless Senior"Mhm," Karl replied with a chuckle, nodding. He sighed and turned back to the pen, watching the pups eat with a heavy heart. Maybe it is my fault...
-
Less than ten minutes later, Eloide came out with a note and phone numbers written on it. “The top one is Clays, the bottom one is Clint’s.”
-
imsoclueless Senior"Wow, how- You know what, I don't think I wanna know," Karl replied with a chuckle, dialing the numbers. He tried calling Clay first, but didn't get a response, so he tried Clint. He hummed nervously, pacing the room for a moment as he waited for him to answer the phone.
-
“Hello?” Clint’s voice crackled from the other end of the phone.
-
imsoclueless Senior"Hey, Clint- This is Karl," the brunette spoke, his voice shaky. "Have- Have you talked to Nick recently? He's not been answering my calls or messages, and he's called out of work a few days now, and I- I'm worried, is all..."
-
“Uhh, no, no, I haven’t,” Clint answered, furrowing his brows. “I’ll text him really fast, give me a sec.” He did text Nick, asking him where he was and then moving to text Clay about it too. While he was doing that, he got the same driving text that he knew their dad had set up for them so long ago. He added this as he texted Clay before talking to Karl. “Um, was he acting weird last time you saw him? When did you see him last?”
-
imsoclueless Senior"The last I saw of him was when he came over to meet my mom and dad, I haven't seen him since," Karl replied, his anxiety rising. "You- You haven't heard anything from Nick??"
-
“No… But, to be fair, we don’t text that often and I’ve been busy,” Clint said, knowing pretty much what was happening with Nick but trying to act cool to try to keep Karl calm. Which didn’t seem to be working well, but he kept at it, continuing to text Clay details about what was going on, spamming him a little so he might respond.“So… he’s not come into work in a few days? And he met your parents?”
-
imsoclueless Senior"No, and he met them a few days ago," Karl replied, sighing. "Everything seemed okay, so I- I'm worried about him..."
