Karl smiled and wrapped his arms around Nick's waist, giggling happily. "Well, I'm sure you must be tired of us," Karl's mother joked, chuckling. "And we'll let you boys say your goodbyes~" She giggled as she walked with her husband after he said his goodbyes.

“Of course,” Nick said with a smile, pressing a kiss onto Karl’s lips before pulling away. “You have work tommorow?” -

(also, maybe so we can keep the rp going while nick is mia i could do a made-up person also working at the shelter? i was thinking they could be a manager or smth so they could see that nick dropped his shift or smth?)
