Nick laughed a little bit, trying to shake his awkwardness. “Oh, I am, don’t worry. You have a great son.”

imsoclueless Senior"That's always good to hear," Karl's father with with a smile. Sarah smiled and nodded before pausing, looking around for a moment. "Oh, where are my manners! Come on in, sweetheart, let's go sit~" She said, grabbing Nick's hand and guiding him to the living room of Karl's apartment. "Moooom," the brunette whined, following Nick. "Karl, sweetie, go get your cute boyfriend a drink, will you?" "MOM-" Karl groaned, his face turning bright red. He sighed and walked into the kitchen, followed by his father. "So, tell me a bit about yourself, Nick~" Karl's mother said with a smile, watching the ravenette for a moment.

Nick giggled, sitting next to Karl’s mom. “Well, I volunteer at the shelter Karl works at,” He paused. “I work remotely from home from time to time. It’s complicated. But, I have a snake, a bunny, and a really grumpy cat who doesn’t like Karl at all,” He said with a laugh.

"I'm just glad this guy likes me~" Karl said from behind Nick, walking around the couch and setting down two cups of tea for his boyfriend and his mother. "Same thing I said about your mother," Johnathan said with a chuckle, placing down a cup for Karl before sitting in a chair by his wife.

Nick chuckled, using his free hand to ruffle Karl’s hair. “Yeah, at the rescue center. Elodie kept hinting that y’know, Karl was single and that I should ask him on a date,” He paused, giggling. “And I did.”
