Corey bit her lip. "What if they are real though?" "My grandma told me that she saw a ghost once, when she was younger and apparently the ghost spoke to her saying it's name and when they checked the records of who had lived their previously it was a woman with the same name. (Based on true story lol)

“Well, who knows if ghosts are real and what might happen to us? We could try something more stable and based off of facts, not rumors. But nothing else is working and it’s worth a shot, right guys?” Velvette managed an encouraging smile.

He nods, "I agree with Velvette, ghosts and other spirits like yokai are sometimes dangerous, like kitsunes. They are trickster foxes from traditional Japanese folklore. Blah blah blah" He starts to just spew facts and info about kitsunes. He doesn't notice that he's doing it but it seems to get on the others nerves.

Xavier put a hand out to stop him. ‘Bro, that’s cool and all, but I’m talking about actual ghosts, not kite-soons.’

"Sure, this may be a pretty crappy job in the long run, and don't tell anyone I said that," Spencer admitted. "...But how are we gonna persuade anyone that we've seen ghosts? That's the only way we'd earn money for it anyway."

'Catch it all on camera!' Xavier said with an excited grin. 'How hard could it be to catch a ghost on film?'
Jacob grumbled. 'Impossible. Ghosts aren't real.' -
“CGI,” Velvette said. “Editing. Or if they’re real, just keep a camera on you at all times.” She pulled out a pack of gum from her pocket and popped a piece into her mouth. “I don’t know why y’all are so worried, you have an experienced influencer among you and then some random dude who knows about kite-sunah-sunay thingies.”

"kitsunes, and yeah people may think it's fake but oh well" he walks over to velvette, "can I see the book?"

Velvette hands the book over to Gojiko.
“Sure. It’s not like I have any use for it anyways.” -
"Well now we've got a job we have to find a haunted house" Corey said. "So how are we going to find one of those?"

Xavier almost immediately whipped out his phone. ‘Ever heard of Google, Corey?’ he said, eyes wrinkling slightly, indicating either a smirk or an amused smile under his mask.
‘I prefer DuckDuckGo,’ Jacob mumbled.
‘Duck what now?’ -
He takes the book and starts to read it, mumbling a few words, "spirits...... Forest..... Possession....yurei..." He looks up from the book at Jacob, "I agree with Xavier, Duckduck what now?"

Spencer couldn't focus on cleaning the basement anymore. "Don't you mean Duck Duck Goose? If you do, then I'm NOT playing." Spencer was obviously joking, but he tried to hide it with a weirdly menacing tone to sound serious.

“Gods, I hate Duck Duck Goose! I’m terrible at running! Oh, and he said DuckDuckGo, you deaf grandparents.” Velvette, said, blowing a large bubblegum bubble.

Xavier’s mask lifted up his face a little, indicating he was wrinkling his nose. ‘Anyway…’ he said, looking up “haunted houses” into the search engine.
‘DuckDuckGo,’ Jacob grumbled. ‘It’s called a browser.’
‘Everyone shut up. There’s a haunted house ten minutes from here!’ Xavier said, holding up the phone for the others to see.
