Florence handed over the remainder of her coins and was given her large tin of soup that they would have to ration for the next few days. She wished she'd accepted the money Alanine had offered but she felt to ashamed to accept.

The next day was Reaping Day for the killing games.Alanine put on her best dark green hooded dress,hugged her brother for luck,then headed out to the square.(As he was too old for the reaping) -
