You have been told this since you where young. It is a rule that the entire sea fairing world knows, and any port city fears.
"And the Golden King gets what he wants, no mater what it is"
This you know well. You lost something, or someone, to the Kings greed. Whether is be gold, a ship, or even family if you are an exotic species, he took it for himself. Not like you could do anything against it. The Golden King rules the Sea, and any who go against him are fools.
But what if that wasn't true?
One day, you received a letter. Unsigned, unmarked, simply stating one thing.
if you wish to strike back against the Golden Crown, come to the Forlal Port, and meet in the Sea Fowl Tavern.
So here you are, risking everything for a chance to strike back against the one who took everything from you. There are othere here, all having received the same message, and all seeking the same goal.

Abilitys: has access to some dark form of magic. Has a set of wings that he can summon, that can cause those of weaker mind to go insane when they see them. This doesn't effect those with a stronger mind, but can cause migranes if he has them out for to long.
What the Golden King did to wrong you: unknown, as Abysal came out of no where, and there is no records of him before now.

Appearance:Wavy red hair,brown eyes,fair skin,usually wears a strapless short sleeved white dress that reaches her knees with a brown leather belt.
Abilities:Has a ghost form,where she’s see through and can pass through objects.Also when she’s in a ghost form everything becomes slow-motion for her cuz she’s too fast.However,to keep ghost mode going,she must focus on keeping it going and it takes a lot of concentration.She can also charm people with her voice like a siren.
What the Golden King did to wrong you:He murdered her true love,Sebastian,for gold.
Pets:Seagull called Ivory.Seagull also wears an eyepatch cuz why not it looks funny
Other:The ship’s Cook.That doesn’t mean she’s bad at fighting,but yeah she’s the Cook.Also she likes singing. -

Appearance: pale eyes almost ghostly, he is half shark, his main features are his dorsal fin, his shark tail and his sharp teeth
Abilities: he can materialise small amounts of water, he uses this to hydrate his shark parts and his pet when he isn't near any water
What the Golden King did to wrong you: he tortured his family
Pets?: a small black and gold koi called Tip
Other: clumsy, not the best at a lot of things, shipmate that has expertise in fighting (I have no clue what it would be called) -

Abilitys: She has access to black magic - a magic usually only reserved for evil and selfish reasons. She can destroy and create with it, though often refrains from doing so.
What the Golden King did to wrong you: Took her memories. She cannot remember her name, species, family, age, or anything about her. All she knows is she's a cartographer and how to access her magic.
Pets?: None.
Other: Sail master/navigator. She navigates the ship and charts and reads needed maps and keeps logbooks. It's the only thing she remembers how to do. -
