Without another word, or a thought Taliesin rises to his feet and follows behind the other. He didn't care to live or die, a chance to return to the forest and leave the heartless sea behind was all he needed.
-
Gillywood rose to his feet, following them to the ship. Once he got there he took off his ragged coat, fully showing his dorsal fin and tail. He takes a deep breath in, "the fresh sea air," he dawdles over to a broom and starts sweeping up the ship.
-
The thought of death wasn't scary to Jane Doe. She didn't see much point to living without her identity. She was already standing, so she followed behind them.
-
Adonis followed slowly behind the other strangers, not saying a word at all. He liked the idea of going on a ship, but at the same time, he knew he was going to be slightly homesick during the trip.
-
“It’s not like I have a reason to live. All my life I’ve lived as an outcast to society” Amelia frowned. But I would never say anything about my sea dragon form not being helpful in battle. Confidently, she went on board.
-
Abysal gave Calypso an odd, amused look at her proclamation, and just led the way to a battered looking galleon, which almost appeared to have be ripped straight from the bottom of the sea and had its holes patched up. The strange pirate seemed to squint at how low the ship was sitting in the water compared to the nearby ships, but just shrugged and climbed aboard.
He waited by the ladder to make sure everyone got on board, before heading up to the helm, humming cheerfully to himself. "My first mate will join us once we reach open waters." He said, before tapping on the hilt on one of his swords and whistling. Magic pulsed through the air, the boards of the ship seeming to hum with it, before the sails unfurled and the ship pulled away from the port -
" My skills set would be best served as your Quartermaster if you don't have one." Taliesin says calmly. " I can prolong the life of supplies, secure sources of clean water even out at sea, and, in general Faeries are far better at keeping ahold of treasure, and managing rules." The faerie says calmly. " In terms of combat skills, I'm not the most skilled. Especially at sea, but my magic is best for support. I can back up anyone I need to, during a fight. And I'm, a decent healer."
-
Jane Doe boarded the ship. She looked curiously around, and watched as the sails unfolded. A sword was sheathed on her belt, and when the ship started moving she instinctively reached for it. She said nothing, and felt she wouldn't for a while.
-
Calypso,in the kitchen, opened her satchel and pulled out an impressive array of herbs and spices, setting them up in the cabinets. She had rosemary, cinnamon, cloves, basil, you name it.She probably shouldn’t have packed this much, but she still wanted to,as at the small fishing town she was a proficient and skilled cook, and her best loved recipes included a lot of seasonings.
-
Adonis sighed. He was thinking about several different things at the time; but one thought stood out to him. Was it really worth it?
Adonis climbed the ladder and entered the boat. A few seconds later, he started looking around the ship. -
Gillywood was already sweeping the ship, whistling the tune of Wellerman. Moving around objects very poorly. He accidentally stubbed his toe on a slightly raised plank. "Oh s---!" He grabbed his toe and hopped about. "Be careful on the deck," he gritted, "there's raised planks."
-
“Don’t worry about those, I can replace them. After all, I am useful when it comes to woodworking.” Amelia grinned.
-
“There once was a ship that put to sea,the name of the ship was the Billy’O Teaaaaaaa the winds blew up her bow dipped down oh blow my bully boys blow” Calypso sang as she arranged her herbs and spices.
(y’all I wanna sing wellerman for some strange reason I hope someone gonna continue singing Wellerman lol) -
Abysal nodded to Taliesin "the position is yours then, unless someone else proves to be better at it" he said easily, before shifting his attention over to Gillywood and Amelia. "If you stomp on it the plank should go back inta place, this old ship is still drying after Elda and I pulled it out of the sea floor and it's causing the boards to warp. Though, if your up to it I wouldn't mind if you took a look over the ship to make sure I didn't miss any holes when patching her up" he said, seeming much more at ease out on the sea then when we was in the tavern
-
Conversely, Taliesin looks less comfortable out on the sea. He sighs softly before he nods, at the others words. " I can help out with repairs. My manipulation of plant life should help me to restore it." He offers Amelia
