Orion ran after them. Mahina ran into the forest.

Ernie followed after making sure Orion was following.

Orion was already panting. ‘Hey, wait up!’ Mahina didn’t wait up.

"Keep up!" Ernest shouted back. He knew it was rude, but he was too busy looking for Selene to care.

Orion groaned and quickened his pace.

Ernie rolled his eyes while looking around.

Mahina eventually grew tired and leaned against a tree panting. 'God, where could she be?'

Ernest stood next to her. "No clue." He murmured.

Mahina ran her fingers through her hair, trying to think.

Ernie looked around nervously, on high alert every time he heard a branch snap or a leaf rustle.

Mahina leaned her head on Ernest's shoulder, catching her breath. Orion caught up to them and doubled over, panting.

Ernest let her, catching his breath as Orion caught up to them.

'God, how are you two so fast!' Orion complained.

"It's a skill." Ernie shrugged.

'Ugh, you and your young legs!'
