Ernie heard twigs snap behind him, turning around quickly.

Mahina whipped around towards the source of the noise, holding her staff in front of her.

It was a squirrel. "Dammit!" Ernest sighed, looking around. "Selene? You here?"

Mahina looked around, tense.

He didn't hear an answer, so he yelled louder. "Selene?"

Mahina shuffled from foot to foot uneasily.

Ernest groaned in frustration, and fear. "Dammit, I don't think she's here."

Mahina buried her face in her hands, not saying anything.

Ernest held her. "We'll find her. I won't stop looking until we find her."

Mahina nodded, taking a deep breath. 'Alright. Let's keep going.'

Ernie nodded. "Unless you want to go to Orion to see if he's found anything. It doesn't seem like we'll find her if she hasn't heard me."

'It's been, like, 5 minutes since we seperated. Could we keep looking for her? I don't want to give up yet.'

Ernest nodded. "Yeah, come on, lets keep looking."

Mahina nodded and followed him.

Ernie looked around for any sign of anyone. He eventually found two pairs of people footprints. "Do these look like her shoe prints?" He asked before pausing. "Do you remember what he shoes even looked like, because I don't."
