Mahina chuckled.

Ernest laughed. They got to Orion's house fairly quickly.

Mahina smiled. She knocked on Orion’s door.

The door opened on it's own like it did every other time.

Mahina walked inside. ‘Orion?’

Orion's dogs ran up to her, barking. Ernie's eyebrows knit together in confusion. "I'll look upstairs for the two of them."

‘Thanks,’ Mahina said, patting the dogs. ‘Hey, you two okay?’

Ernie was already running up the stairs. "Selene? Orion?" He asked, voice growing louder.
"What in the world do you want?" Orion's voice called out from another room. "I'm trying to sleep!"
"Where's Selene?"
"She left last night."
"Well, she never ended up home!" -
Mahina frowned when the dogs wouldn’t calm down. She pushed past them and ran up the stairs. ‘Ernie? Is everything okay?’

"What do you mean, she never went home?"
"I mean we never saw her!" Ernie answered, voice having a nervous edge. -
Orion frowned and opened the door. He was wearing pajamas and had bedhair. ‘Are you sure?’

"Positive." Ernest nodded.

‘Damn,’ Orion said, quickly walking back to his room to get changed. ‘Why aren’t you looking for her?!’
