Ernie blushed, but didn't mention it.

Mahina frowned up at the ceiling.

Ernest looked at her. "What's wrong?"

‘There’s something else.’

"What is it?' Ernest asked softly.

Mahina took a deep breath. ‘When I was ten…’ she murmured, thinking. ‘Two people following me in the woods.’

Ernie's eyebrows knit together. "Oh?" He asked. "Did they do anything to you?"

Mahina blushed in embarrassment. ‘No. I guess they didn’t have the chance because I turned them to toad before I got home.’

Ernest chuckled. "Good for you." He grinned. "Do you... Do you remember turning me into a frog?" He asked hopefully. Although he'd never admit it he'd miss that nickname.

‘I did that?’

Ernie nodded, laughing. "Yeah, you did."

Mahina blushed. ‘I…’ she thought for. Moment, before shaking her head. ‘No. Sorry.’

Ernest gave a weak smile. "Alright." He said quietly.
