Ernest gave the cinnamon roll to Mahina. "Want to sit down?" He asked, motioning to a table.

‘No, we can walk, if you’d prefer,’ Mahina said. She didn’t want him to have to watch her eat.

"I don't mind." Ernest shrugged.

‘Let’s walk,’ Mahina said. ‘I wanna see more of your childhood home.’

Ernie nodded. "Alright." He opened the door for her.

Mahina walked outside.

Ernest walked behind her. "So, what else do you want to see so bad?"

‘Hmm. Do you have any friends, or were you a bookworm dork back then too?’

"Oi!" Ernie laughed. "I was a bookworm dork. I did have one or two friends, but we haven't exactly talked in a couple years."

Mahina grinned. ‘Don’t worry, it’s adorable. Where are these “friends”?’

Ernest shrugged. "Probably at their houses or something."

Mahina nodded. She looked around. ‘Anything to see in this town?’

Ernie shrugged again. "There's a water fountain in the center of the town if you want to go there. It's probably not that crowded now that it's getting darker."

Mahina glanced up at the sky. It wasn’t too dark yet. ‘Alright.’

Ernest smiled. He walked towards the center of the town.
