Mahina let him. She intertwined their fingers.

Ernest blushed, looking down at their hands with a sheepish smile.

Ernie looked back up. "So..."

‘So?’

"So... What now?"

Mahina glanced at the magic. Plates were being set on the table. ‘We eat, genius.’

"Alright." Ernie smiled. He pulled away and walked to the table.
