Chanelle quickly glanced at him, but then she looked at the umbrella which she didn't even notice. She wanted to walk away, but she felt too awkward to do anything.

Eleanor tensed her shoulders, standing awkwardly in the middle of the road staring at the umbrella. She noticed the man frowning deeply at her and hurriedly looked away. Glancing behind her the girl from school looked as uncomfortable as she felt. She gave a small quick smile to Chanelle unsure of what to do.

Hunter huffed and stood up, then, very carefully staying in the shade. Walked over to the woman with green eyes. 'Is there something you need, ma'am?' he asked, wondering if there was a reason the two were staring.

Eleanor pursed her lips. Did he just call her madam? She took a deep breath and shook her head. "Uhm no sir I'm just walking home from school"

'OK. Is there a reason you and your friend are staring?' Hunter asked, glancing at the other blonde girl, then back at the one he was talking to. He tried his best not to let them see his fangs as he didn't want to scare them.

Eleanor glanced back at Chanelle. "No reason" she lied.

'Right,' Hunter said. He glanced at his umbrella. 'Would you mind picking that up for me?' he asked, gesturing to the umbrella which lay in the sunlight.

Eleanor's cheeks flushed pink. "Oh, okay" she replied bending down to pick up the umbrella. She held it out to the stranger.

'Thank you,' Hunter said gratefully, taking the umbrella.

Eleanor stood uncomfortably on the road unsure of whether to continue or do something else.

Chanelle saw Eleanor felt as awkward as she did, but she was too shy to speak to ask who this was, but she felt so curious that she walked a little closer to Eleanor and whispered, "um...who's this? D-do you know him?"

Eleanor shook her head. "I've never seen him before" she whispered back.

Chanelle looked at the stranger in surprise, then she looked back to Eleanor, she wondered why everyone seemed to be so awkward, but now it makes sense. "Then what's he doing here?"

Eleanor tilted her head to look at the stranger. "I, I don't know"

Hunter glanced at the two. He looked up at the sky, it wouldn't be long before the sun set now. He'd just have to stay put for the time being. He sat back down in the shade.
