Chester took the mirror and tried to take a look at his back. The back of his shirt was ripped into two holes because of his occasional wings, which were gone. He felt for bunny ears on his head - there were none. His gaze turned to Jayden. ‘I-I’m cured.’

Jayd grinned, nodding. "Yup. Guess this means you'll have to be the taller one forever." He sighed dramatically.

Chester laughed and wrapped his boyfriend in a hug, holding him tightly. ‘I’m cured!’ he repeated happily, burying his face in Jayden’s hair.

"Yes, you are." Jayden responded happily, looking up at his beautiful boyfriend.

Chester grinned and twirled Jayden around, then hugged him again.

Jayd kissed his cheek, grinning.

Chester smiled, holding him tightly. ‘Thank god those dreaded wings are gone,’ he mumbled into Jayden’s hair.

"Thank god." Jayd nodded.

Chester smiled, letting him go. ‘Thank you so much, Oliver,’ he said, looking at his friend, beaming.

"You're very welcome." Oliver grinned.
Jayden kissed his nose. -
Chester grinned, holding him close again.
‘As much as I’d hate to ruin the moment,’ Oliver said, walking forward. ‘Can you lay down on the bed so I can run a few tests?’
‘Of course,’ Chester said, letting go of Jayden and settling back down on the bed. -
Jayden walked back to his seat, looking at Oliver expectantly.

Oliver rested the back of his hand on Chester’s forehead, and after a moment seemed satisfied. ‘Straighten your arm for me. I’m just taking a blood sample,’ he said, and Chester did as he was told. He winced slightly as a needle was inserted into his arm. After a moment Oliver pulled it out and walked back to his desk.

Jayd looked down at the ground when the needle was inserted before looking up after a bit.

Chester reached over and grabbed Jayden’s hand.
‘Try and sleep,’ Oliver said. ‘That way we’ll know if any of the symptoms have popped up.’
