Jayd leaned into him, noticing them too. He looked up at Chester.

Chester kissed his nose. ‘Wanna get out of here?’

"Yeah." Jayden mumbled. "Let's go."

Chester smiled softly and kissed his jaw.
‘Oh, hello, Cottontail,’ Astrid said, walking towards them. -
Jayd blushed before his grip on Chester tightened slightly, not nearly as much as before though.
Beatrice giggled like he'd said something hilarious. Jayden could hear the fakeness in it, but it didn't seem like Astrid did, or at least, he didn't care about it. -
Chester ran his fingers through Jayden’s hair, trying to relax him. ‘Astrid, Beatrice. Lovely morning, isn’t it?’ he said, trying to come off as friendly as possible.

It did relax Jayden enough to loosen his grip.
"Indeed." Astrid said, having a flicker of suspicion on his face before erasing it from his expression quickly with a charming smile. -
Chester smiled when Jayden loosened his grip, kissing the top of his head. ‘It’s usually cloudy in the North. This is a nice change,’ he said, trying to show he was indifferent to Astrid’s and Beatrice’s relationship. He wasn’t, but it was good to seem nonchalant.

Astrid nodded. "Oh, I bet." Jayden noted that he never introduced Beatrice to either of them, indicating that he was just that oblivious to her, or that he knew perfectly well that they all knew each other. If Jayden were a betting man, he would've bet money on the latter.
"Well, we'll be off. See you around, Cottontail." Astrid said before walking off, whispering something into Beatrice's ear. -
Chester narrowed his eyes as they walked away. He sighed and looked at Jayden, gently caressing his cheek. ‘You okay?’

Jayd gave a small nod. "I'm fine." He mumbled, leaning into Chester.

Chester kissed his nose. ‘C’mon, let’s go inside.’

"Ok." Jayden walked inside.

Chester smiled softly and followed.
