I'm terrified that you'll figure out why I've been pressuring you to give me so much land this morning and you'll hate me and run off with Beatrice again, or someone else, and leave me, which you could do because you're literally so amazing and beautiful and could get literally anyone to fall in love with you.
Jayden leaned his head on Chester's shoulder. "Mhm." He mumbled. -
Chester’s brows furrowed, seeing the look on his face. He stopped walking and brushed a curl out of Jayden’s face. ‘Then talk to me, darling. Tell me what’s wrong so I can help,’ he said softly. He hated seeing his boyfriend like this.

Jayd sighed. He snuggled into Chester's shirt. "I'm scared you'll leave me." He said in a small voice, slightly muffed by the shirt. His eyes welled up with tears.

Chester was too stunned to speak for a moment. He cupped Jayden’s cheeks in his hands, wiping his tears with his thumbs, and gently tilted his head back. ‘My love, I wouldn’t leave you for the world,’ he said softly, pressing his forehead against Jayden’s. ‘You are everything. You make me more happy than anyone ever could. I feel so safe with you. I love you more than anything in this world, sweetheart. Never doubt that.’

Jayden didn't react for a moment, leaning into his touch slightly before smiling. He wrapped his arms around Chester's neck and kissed him on the lips.

Chester smiled into the kiss before kissing him back, pulling him close. He closed his eyes, raking his fingers through Jayden’s hair.

Jayd leaned forward, closing his eyes as well.

Chester eventually pulled away. He rubbed his nose against Jayden’s. ‘I would never leave you, my darling. I’m head over heels, deeply and crazily in love with you. What makes you think I’d ever walk away from this?’

The fact that you being with me has given you nothing but trouble. Because you kissed Beatrice. Because if you really wanted to, you could without much trouble. Because my brain likes to tell me you would so it's more aware in case you do. Because it wouldn't be the first time someone left me when they were claimed they were head over heels in love.
Jayden didn't answer out loud. He didn't want to say it, as if saying it would make it so Chester realized 'oh wait, you have a point there' and left, even though he knew that wouldn't happen. -
Chester frowned. He pressed a kiss to Jayden’s nose, then his cheek and jaw. ‘Jayden. Answer me, please,’ he said softly but firmly. ‘Please tell me what you’re thinking. I want to know if I’ve done something wrong.’

Jayden sighed. "Because our relationship has given you nothing but trouble." He said simply, looking down.

Chester stared at him. ‘Darling..’ he said, voice breaking. ‘I would climb the tallest mountain to be with you. This has most certainly not brought me nothing but trouble. I love you so much, okay? I’ve loved every moment of us being together.’

Jayd listened to him intently. Hearing his voice break made him want to take it back immediately, it made him want to shower him in love and say he was sorry. "O-ok." He mumbled happily, trying to stop his eyes from welling up with tears again, though this time they were happier tears.

Chester smiled softly, his own eyes welling with tears as he wiped away Jayden’s. He kissed his nose, then trailed his way to his forehead, holding onto him tightly. ‘I love you. So, so much. Never forget that again.’
(Imma go for the night, gn!) -
(Ok, bye!)
"I won't." Jayden promised, burying his face into Chester's shoulder.
