Chester laughed and sat next to her. ‘That’s the first thing you’re gonna say? No ‘good morning, o best brother in the kingdom’?’

"Good morning, fairly decent brother. Your food is getting cold." Maeve had a defiant smile.
Jayden chuckled, sitting down. He looked over at Astrid. He already had that girl he was talking about the night before over. She was pretty- he seriously doubted Astrid would be dating her if she wasn't- with long hair so dark brown it almost looked black, and piercing gray eyes. Jayden gave a small wave to the girl before turning to eat his food. -
Chester elbowed her. ‘Good morning, irritating little sister,’ he said, taking a bite from his food. He ran his fingers through his blond hair and followed Jayden’s gaze, looking at the girl Astrid was flirting with. ‘Who’s she?’

"Astrid's newest girlfriend." Jayd answered. He made a bet with himself on how long she'd manage. He guessed two, maybe even three months before the thrill of dating a prince left, and he knew after that, she would too.

‘Hm. Think she’s seen the newest papers, or should I show he?’ Chester asked, only part joking as he took another bite from his breakfast.

"I bet she already knows." Jayden said with a chuckle. "You're forgetting, I doubt she's dating him because of love or anything. It's the thrill of dating a prince. Especially one the press is going nuts over." He ate his breakfast.

Chester nodded, turning back to his food. He’d been reminded of Beatrice twice this morning, and that was twice too many in his eyes. ‘Most likely. I’d feel sorry for him if he wasn’t such a jerk.’

Jayden nodded before looking at Chester and noticing he was upset. "Sorry, did I strike a nerve?" He asked quietly.

Chester sighed and shook his head. ‘I’m all good.’ -

"Ok." Jayd kissed his cheek. "Sorry if I upset you." -

Chester shook his head, smiling softly. ‘You didn’t love.’ -

Jayden leaned into him. "Ok, if you're sure." -

Chester booped his nose. ‘It’d be stupid if I was upset about a certain someone, because if I was still with her, then I never would’ve fallen for you,’ he said, kissing his forehead. ‘Or, I probably would’ve, but I wouldn’t have been able to ask you out, if you know what I mean.’ -

Jayden smiled. "Fair enough." That boosted his confidence a good deal. He knew the whole Chester cheating on him with Beatrice wasn't his choice, but hearing him say out loud that he'd rather be with Jayden made him feel much better, even after all this time. -
(Lol fair enough xD)
Chester noticed his smile and grinned, kissing the corner of his mouth. ‘You’re adorable when you smile,’ he mumbled, wrapping an arm around his waist.
