(I’ll be gone in like 5 mins lol)
‘O-Of my grandparents, of you getting hurt… I’m scared of a lot of things,’ Chester mumbled. -
(DAMN)
Jayd didn't know what to say to that for a while. "Well... I'll make sure the guards know to never let your grandparents in, and I'm not getting hurt anytime soon, I promise." He kissed the top of Chester's head. -
He sighed softly and buried his face back in Jayden’s shirt. He closed his eyes and tightened his arms around him.

Jayden let him, not sure what else he could do.

Chester’s breathing eventually slowed, and he fell into a light sleep, leaning against Jayden. ‘Mnnph…’ he shifted his position and fell into a deeper sleep.

Jayden sighed, holding him close. He moved slightly so he could lean against the wall.

Chester nuzzled into his neck as he slept, arms going limp around him. Eventually he went still.

Jayden played with Chester's hair gently, brushing it out of his face as he slept.

There was a knock at the door.

Jayden looked up. "Come in, but be quiet." He said, trying not to wake up Chester.

Astrid walked inside, rubbing the back of his neck. ‘Can we talk?’

Jayden raised an eyebrow. "Sure." He shrugged.

Astrid glanced down at Chester. ‘He’s not awake, is he?’

Jayd shook his head. "No, he's asleep."

‘Well, good,’ Astrid said, lowering his voice a little. ‘What’s going on, Jayden? First your little boyfriend attacks me, threatens you, and then his psycho grandparents show up?’ He gestured to Chester’s bunny ears. ‘Not to mention his, er, animal parts.’
