"Do you want to leave for a bit?" Jayd whispered in his ear.

Chester shook his head.

Jayden gave a small nod. "Alright." He kissed his cheek. "Don't let him make you feel so upset. I love you, no matter what my dad reads about." He whispered.

Chester smiled, looking back down at his pocket watch. ‘Love you too.’ Astrid glanced down at his watch, narrowing his eyes.

Jayd gave a small smile before turning back to his family. He noticed Astrid's expression. "What're you doing?"

Chester looked up, hands closing around his watch.

"Nothing." Astrid looked back at Jayden, frowning.

Chester looked back down.

Jayd looked at Chester again. "Do you want to sit somewhere else?" He whispered.

Chester smiled softly and shook his head. ‘I’m fine so long as you’re here.’

Jayden shrugged. "Fine. If it's too much though, just tell me."

Chester twisted the chain around his finger, pulled it off then twisted it around his thumb.

Jayd grabbed his hand gently.

Chester let him.

Jayden squeezed it, looking up at his boyfriend with a gentle smile.
