Chester just shook his head and pulled back too. ‘What do you need?’ he asked Astrid.

“Nothing. Just checking in on my little brother. Is that so bad?”
Jayd glared, knowing there was no way in hell that was the reason. -
‘Honestly, I feel sorry for you, Astrid. You really need your little brother to give you lessons on how to kiss?’ Chester sighed, shaking his head. ‘Is that why you have no girl?’

“Better than being with you.” Astrid shot back.
“Astrid, get out.” Jayden glared, leaning back into Chester slightly. -
‘I’d never be with someone like you. Trust me, you don’t need to worry about that,’ Chester said, wrapping an arm around Jayden protectively. ‘What you do need to worry about is what my fist might do to that ugly face of yours…’

“You’re one to talk, ginger.” Astrid crossed his arms across his chest.
“Astrid-“
“Quiet, Jayden. The adults are talking.” -
Chester looked like he wanted to stab Astrid with the knife he brought. ‘Don’t you dare talk to him like that,’ he growled, taking a step forward.

Jayden grabbed Chester’s hand. “Come on, no fighting Chester, please.”
“Aww, poor little Jayden needing someone to fight his battles for him.” Astrid looked like he was thoroughly enjoying the mess he caused. -
‘He doesn’t. But I’d really enjoy punching his idiotic brother,’ Chester snapped, not responding to Jayden.

Jayd sighed. “Chester, please, we talked about this.” He begged.
Astrid gave a small smirk. “Oh really?” -
Chester glanced at Jayden. He so wanted to punch that brat Astrid, but he felt like he’d be doing a lot more damage than just to his nose.
Chester sighed. ‘Just get out. You know where the door is.’ -
Jayden gave a weak smile. “Thank you.” He mumbled.
“Oh, I do.” Astrid nodded, not moving. -
‘Then why don’t you walk out of it? Do you need me to show it to you?’

“No.” Astrid smirked, enjoying how insane he made Chester.

Chester took another step forward. ‘Get out!’ he snapped.
